Well, for any of you who do not all ready know, our apartment's carpets are disgusting and urine covered... so after 5 weeks, a disgruntled letter, and a carpet man w/ a black light, they have finally come to the decision that then need to be riped out and disposed of like we told them in the beginning... (they are REALLY NASTY) anyway, we have to move out in order for them to replace them, but hopefully we can move back in and it will all be better in a few weeks. :)
Charlie is done with school for the semester! YAY!!! most of his little break between semesters we will be back in Basin because Jonathan (charlies baby brother!) is graduating high school! That's about it for updates...
Mothers Day!!!
Mothers Day was fun! My first Mothers Day! Charlie Took me out to diner Saturday night and made me breakfast Sunday morning :) He's a good one! and even though I started to get ready two hours early when Katelyn and Charlie were asleep, we were still a little late to our 2:00 church... It's surprisingly a hard time of day...
We took some pictures when we got home and Katelyn was making such cute goober faces! It was so funny!
Braxton LOVED Katelyn!!! He just couldn't get enough! So much love!
Hehe! She loved that water bottle for some reason...
I was sooooo excited to see GREEN grass in Basin! It's a lot warmer there than it is here. So I put Katelyn down expecting her to love it and she HATED the grass she just cryed every time I put her down ... oh well, maybe someday...
I made a bunch of new bows with my sister Alicia! love it!
and our little girl is still growing up way too fast! she has to sit up most of the time now - no more lounging in her chair!
Charlie playing B-ball with Wayne and Michelle's boys!
It was also Ronda's Birthday!! She looked so pretty! You cant see it in this picture, but she was doing some firefighter training earlier that day and scorched her heavy duty name tag so bad it melted and twisted! That's some hot fire!!! woo!
Oh! Little John Boy's all grown up and going to Prom! His date was Corrinne Cheatam, and the other couple is Hannah Cheatam and her date... I don't know his name so we'll just call him smiling boy!
The girls looked so pretty and I loved the flowers! Hannah's nails look so nice, too!
These are my most resent necklaces! I like them they look like lace!

Spinach Pasta, Blessings, and Beads!
OK, so my sisters tell my that all my posts are Katelyn... and they're right. So I decided to include some non-Katelyn goings ons...
First of all, let me share with you a recent cooking adventure...
I recently got a kitchen aid stand mixer and have been just itching to try out some of the listed recipes, I don't know like... spinach pasta for instance.
This was my mess before I started cooking...
I was so proud of my first little success! The pasta dough! Looked good, smelled good, nice and squishy...
Here's where I started running into problems... it was sticky and clumpy and just... wrong.
yet, I pressed on! Even though too even get it to somewhat hold it's form I had to use the thickest setting for egg noodles...
Ah! Finally, all my pasta was shredded! I was feeling OK about this little endeavor... until I started putting it in the pot. Suddenly I realized I had one large gooey mass of noodles instead of nice individual noodles.
I was only able to redeem about a third of them for the boiling,
and sadly went back to square one with the rest of the noodles.
After much effort and about two hrs, dinner was finally served!
The Moment of truth!
Verdict: Cheese
LOTS of CHEESE!!!
Katelyn was surprisingly good through the whole thing!
Now, for the Baby Blessings!

Our friends Lindsey and Robert Blessed their little Girl Emma! What a little doll!
The Zabels blessed their sweet little girl, and the Hancocks blessed their little boy, too but I wasn't fast enough to get a photo of him...
